I agree. I like the depth and three dimensionality. I feel as if I were there. Composition-wise, you have an interesting foreground and a well-defined background. B&W treatment also works great. Congrats.
Nice colors. I wish you had pointed the camera a little bit lower (to show the basket and people) and to the right (to show a green balloon) instead of an empty sky above and sun to the left.
These photos taken today, we are experiencing blizzard conditions here. It started this afternoon with heavy snow, high winds and freezing cold. It's been getting considerably worse out and they are predicting snow falls in excess of 24 inches with below zero temperatures. The M8 is working flawlessly under these conditions no problems handling the cold. I hope to get some good photos tomorrow providing I can get out of the house.
