Thank you. Things, kind of, came together. The awning had been only half-opened, which gave space to the bulbs and the illumination; but not too much of a yawning gap to be unbalanced. Lucky at 6am.

Thank you. I thought it was quite an unglamorous topic. I tried B&W and it was "horrible". Then resorted to colour and brought out the texture and tone. Still unglamorous. Glad you like it.

Thank you. This is the wall decoration of a Japanese noodle shop. As usual, it is a pleasure just to look at them - Zen-like simplicity. Those pots are real; I suspect it is noodle at the back. It is a high-contrast scene; I was careful to get the noodle, and partially the white pot.

The tracks left behind by the tractor and of course, by the seagulls is one reason I took this. Why should the seagul tracks run in parallel to those of the tractor's? 5am.

Thank you. Fascinating architecture. I spend time often standing there to watch the interplay of light. And to think that this is one of the first mall. Genius.

Beautiful capture. Wonderful composition and shallow DOF.

Thank you. I took the pic, but stood there much longer bathing in the scene.

Thank you. This street at Gold Coast, with shops and restaurants, has a homely feel. For business, of course, but it does not have the overtly "only for business" feel. Merry Xmas.

I had a 35mm f1.4 but shot the pic at f8. Still, the lens was not enough to catch the panoramic view. So I tried to get a B&W to get the converging shoreline with the ocean rolling in. Seems more fun.

Nicely captured. At ISO 100.

This Japanese lady was actually a life-size photo. I was intrigued by the way she peered out behind the parted curtain. The 2 at the bottom were reflections. Thank you.

I love this shot! That is one rough looking dog.

Thank you. I had a tripod, puzzled over how to get the various speeds of the water. In the end, I took several shots with different shutter speeds.

Thank you. I find the subdue colours quite appealing. I could look at it longer.

Thank you. Although I wanted to leave the figure behind blurred, I wasn't sure I could get some details from the hat. This is about all I could get. The rim had been burned out. Well, may be just as well.

Amazing lens. Must have shot it in near darkness. It seems the middle-to-back are in focus, but the foreground is selective blurred. Is that how the 50 Lux works?
