The hardest lens I've tried to use and rarely get it right but nevertheless it's fabulous and I'll keep on trying, though it's not exactly forgiving - every spot and then some...
This was a lucky capture! Fast movement and poor backlighting was making the shooting conditions tough but also giving a wonderful atmosphere for photography. The grain in the image from high ISO really adds to the atmosphere of this small town rodeo.
This is how Whitby, Yorkshire was for MOST of the time we were there !! Storms and gales -- here I used my A12 back loaded with some outdated 1993 ORWO NP22 film I rated at 80 ASA and processed in Tetenal Neopress HC 1+31 -- I held a light RED filter over the lens. I included the Old Couple for Human Interest --
