Taken on a day in Oban, Scotland by the harbour -- dull and rainy weather. i used the outdated Fuji Neopan 400 downrated to 320ASA and processed in home-made Acutol-S Formula 1+1.
One of the Oban ferries that goes to outlying Islands from Oban, Scotland. It was very dull. rainy. I used the outdated Fuji Neopan 400 I rated down to 320 ASA and processed in home-made Acutol -S Formula 1+1.
A quick three minute 'Photo Stop' our coach driver gave us ! -- pity about the barbed wire strands-- there was no time to climb over. A small amount of SUNSHINE at last in Scotland while we were out -- usually the sun came out just as we had returned back to the Hotel for dinner ! - I held a Yellow-Green filter over the lens for this.
I put into practice everything I learnt through many years in Camera Clubs-- the man is on the 'Intersection of Thirds', there is a 'lead-in line' of the white flowers and 'Recession of Tones' in the further mountains ! -- Let's see if a Judge agrees when I do a print for Brentwood Photographic Club next print competition !
the Witches' Pool-- if you sunk and drowned you were NOT a Witch, if you surfaced and survived you WERE a Witch and were taken and burned at the stake --- a 'No-Win Situation' !
taken though a moving coach tinted window as we were going into Glencoe on the way to our Hotel in Fort William -- the coach driver would not give us a 'photostop' !
