This is Tri-X, with Rodinal 1-100 stand developing. Really just experimenting with it (and some Ilford FP4) because it's what I have on hand right now as I spend a bit of time with film. I picked Rodinal just because of its long life and ease of using it in stand processing. I know the grain is pretty pronounced and may not appeal to all. After spending the past few years exclusively in digital, I sort of enjoy the grain. If I keep with it, I'm sure I'll try some other combos as well.

Using a plustek scanner. Still learning how to use the thing.

Just getting back into film. Shot on Tri-X with a rigid summicron. Rodinal stand developing.

Thanks. I wish I did too. But when I had both the summicron and the planar, I thought the planar was better. So i sold the cron. Maybe I just had a bad copy. Perhaps I'll try again some day.....

I'm very happy with this lens. I was a little worried about talk of softness at wide apertures. It may not be as crisp, but it's still very nice. And great for portraits. I've gone through a lot of telephotos. But this one is my keeper.

I started with actresses (and some actors) from the local theater and burlesque scenes. Then I joined Model Mayhem, which is a great place to meet women (or men) interested in modeling, makeup, etc. The more of them that I work with, the easier it is to find others. I also find them through Facebook. Many of my subjects are friends of other people I've shot.

Thanks guy. Finding them is sort of a constant, and sometimes exhausting, quest.

Very nice. Just love the eye contact with the camera.
